Book Reviews
Not that we have all kinds of free time, but we've managed to get through quite a few books lately.
Dave listens in the car and just finished Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini. He really enjoys these type of sagas. They are in the category of fantasy and science fiction, and apparently, there will be an Eragon movie later this year. He is now listening to Vince Flynn's latest, Consent to Kill. We are both Flynn fans.
This month I have made it through In Her Shoes (now I want to see the movie), The Book of Ruth (thumbs down), The Pilot's Wife (a little predictable), and The Devil Wears Prada (hilarious in a Nanny Diaries way). I finally gave into to peer pressure and our church's latest sermon topic and read The DaVinci Code this weekend. Nice little thriller. I am working on Lucky Man (Michael J.Fox's autobiography) and I am halfway through the 9/11 Report (my standby when I need something to make me sleepy!!).
I really need to quit reading now and get to work on our yard and my scrapbook projects (and housework, cleaning and everything else yucky I've been putting off). Ugh.
