A birthday to remember....

I thought my birthday would be pretty normal. I planned to spend the morning getting new tires on our van and have a date with Dave in the evening. Those plans were canceled when Dave came home from West Virginia on Thursday night with pinkeye and the snow started falling Friday morning. A quick trip out for a birthday lunch turned into hour of sliding home (I really need new tires). We finally abandoned our van at Publix and walked home in the beautiful falling snow. It was quite an adventure and a day I will always remember. The rest of the weekend has been great too- fun playing in the snow, snuggling on the couch, hot chocolate and lots of family time. My birthday wish came true!
